The Böhnke + Partner GmbH, is a subsidiary of the Schmersal Group. Böhnke + Partner was established in 1991 and has since developed the control modules BP119, BP208, BP308 and BP408. Their technologies offer various expansion stages for the hardware. In this way, the hardware can be selected according to individual requirements and also subsequently expanded (downwards compatible).
CANopen is an Industry-Standard protocol and was introduced to the elevator market in 2003 by Böhnke + Partner Gmbh. Plug-and-play protocol is the most widely used communications protocol among elevator parts and is commonly used among generic/third-party elevator parts supplies. Due to it’s open standard, a wide range of products from many manufacturers are fully compatible with each other as they are communicating in the same language.
Expertise in elevator technology has been developed by Böhnke + Partner, and industry-specific elevator controls and switchgear such as position and magnetic switches have been offered since the company’s inception.
Elevator doors are locked and monitored by Böhnke + Partner’s elevator switching devices. These devices have a wide range of applications in the active and passive safety circuits of elevator systems, whether used as door locks, position switches for monitoring individual components, or limit switches in the shaft head or shaft pit that can be reset electrically.

bpTARGET DESTINATION CALL SYSTEM
Schmersal Böhnke+Partner has years of experience in the lift business and they used their knowledge and expertise to develop their own destination call system called: bpTARGET. This system is crucial for enhancing efficiency, reducing wait times, and improving overall user experience.
Unlike in traditional lifts, the Destination Call System allows the passenger to choose their target floor in the building lobby, instead of pressing floor button at lift cabin.
By allowing passengers to select their target floor before entering the lift, the system can intelligently group passengers heading to the same or nearby floors, improving the efficiency of the lift.
The Destination Call System is designed to improve traffic flow management in commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, and office buildings.

bpTARGET DESTINATION CALL SYSTEM
The Displays in two different sizes allow you to have the small touch screen display (7 Zoll) for the entrance at the elevator mounted in a column or at the wall. The bigger display (10,1 Zoll) can be placed at the elevator cabin.

CANwizard
The CANwizard software is a diagnostic and configuration tool designed specifically for CANopen lift networks. It incorporates special functions from the CANopen lift application profile CiA-417, which focuses on lift control. The CANwizard enables lift service technicians to parameterize devices from various manufacturers using a single software platform.
For developers of CANopen lift devices, the CANwizard provides numerous diagnostic functions, supports firmware updates via the CAN bus, and offers the capability to write custom extensions for their own hardware.
