Functional Description

The safety control unit is used to detect the uncontrolled movement of the lift cabin in accordance with EN 81-20.

Application fields

• Elevator uncontrolled movement detection is to be used with an overspeed governor (OSG)
• Levelling and re-levelling circuits

• 24V AC/DC power supply
• Inputs for safety chain
• Inputs for floor position sensors
• 1 Safety outputs for UCM
• 1 Safety output for leveling and re-leveling
• 2 Auxiliary outputs for UCM and leveling
• Manual start for UCM circuit; manual or automatic start for levelling
• Delayed activation of the UCM output depending on the landing/car door opening
• Certified according to EN 81-20 and EN 81-50 as a safety circuit for UCM detection
