Functional Description

Safety control unit to be used as an interlocking device for movable guards designed to protect people and machines from dangerous situations. The NC96 can control the state of two contacts (magnetic reed sensor, emergency stop button, mechanical safety switches, safety mat or edges).

Application fields

• Control of correct closing of dangerous gates or guards.
• In conjunction with magnetic sensors, it is the ideal solution for environments with high hygiene requirements, reduced installation spaces, poor door approach accuracy, and environments with dust or humidity.
• Emergency stop button control.
• Elevator levelling and re-levelling safety circuits.
• Elevator uncontrolled movement detection circuits.

• 24V AC/DC power supply
• 2 inputs for NO sensors (up to 30 sensors can be connected in series)
• 2 Safety outputs
• 1 Transistor auxiliary output
• Automatic or manual start.
• Certified according to EN ISO 13856-1/2 to control safety mats or safety edges (automatic start)
• Certified according to EN 81-20 and EN 81-50 as safety circuits for elevators
