ZIEHL-ABEGG Elevator ZAdisc Gearless Traction Motors

The ZAdisc elevator machine seamlessly replaces the original unit on a 1:1 basis. The traction sheave is designed to accommodate the existing cable. Leveraging the existing fastening elements and clamps eliminates the need for time-consuming machining of guide rails. The ZAdisc’s ultra-slim profile ensures optimal shaft dimensions. Our 2-stage RETROFITBLUE modernization approach provides flexibility, allowing you to transition from original spare parts to ZIEHL-ABEGG components available in the open market. By installing our advanced frequency inverter, ZAdyn4CS (stage 1), and upgrading to the ZAdisc (stage 2), you can effortlessly create a state-of-the-art elevator system with significantly enhanced performance and travel comfort.

Properties:

Permanent magnet excited gearless drive for traction sheave cable elevators without a machine room.
The slimline design and mounting of the elevator machine to the guide rails allow for optimum shaft dimensions.
The type examination tested brake can be used as part of the protective device to prevent the car from overspeeding when travelling upwards or as part of the protective device to prevent unintended movement of the car.
